About My Blog
Ave Omnissiah!
My blog is primarily my own personal fluff in the Warhammer 40,000 universe regarding the Draconis system such as the Knight House Yato in Ryusei, their Household Militia, the Draconian Defenders, and the Forge World of Draconis IV with its Adeptus Mechanicus priesthood, Cybernetica cohorts and Skitarii legions, and the Titan Legion, Legio Draconis, known as the Dark Dragons.

Doom of Molech
I'm not going to talk about Black Legion because I'm a Thousand Sons player. Unfortunately, it seems Thousand Sons won't be getting anything in Vigilus Ablaze, but whatever. Allied forces then. Maybe.
Anyway, what I'm more interested in right now is Doom of Molech because Knights and Titans!
As usual, you can check out Warhammer Community for the full details. Interestingly enough, I just finished reading Vengeful Spirit by Graham McNeill yesterday. That was a good book, as expected of Graham McNeill, who is one of my favorite Black Library authors (my favorite books remain Mechanicum and A Thousand Sons). The other Black Library author who is my favorite is Sandy Mitchell, with his awesome Ciaphas Cain series, but I digress (Dan Abnett also deserves a mention with Titanicus and his amazing Gaunt Ghost series too!). I do feel that the book dragged on too long about irrelevant stuff, probably because I'm not a big fan of Garviel Loken and the Knights Errant. I wanted to read more about the fall of House Devine, and the Imperial Armies defending Molech, and for some reason they didn't take center stage despite Molech being a Knight world. Like, seriously? It felt mostly about Loken for some reason. Raeven Devine was such an interesting character, and pretty tragic, and Banelash was a cool Knight. I wish the book expanded more on him and House Devine, but oh well. On the other hand, the book was very much about Horus Lupercal and the Sons of Horus, so I understand that they take center stage, but the Loken bits were just...irrelevant to me. Probably ties into Wolfsbane later in the Horus Heresy when Leman Russ and the Space Wolves attack the former Luna Wolves, but that's neither here nor there. I was hoping to read more about Knights, but they didn't really take center stage here, not like House Taranis in Mechanicum and their epic, final charge and last stand.
What can we expect from Doom of Molech? The option to use full Knight armies. I'm so getting myself a pair of Cerastus Knights Lancer. Plus we get Knight Leaders with their "Warlord Traits" so to speak. They call them Knightly Qualities, though. And Freeblades! YAY! We also get Stratagems, Mission Objectives and Battlefield Assets unique to Knights. Cool!
It's not just Knights, though. We are getting rules for four new Legios (Crucius, Fortidus, Vulcannum and Interfector) - funnily enough, I just read about them in Vengeful Spirit - so I'm getting hyped for that. Seriously, one of the Vulcannum Titans was named Kitsune. Given how Youkai popped up in The Crimson King, it seems that Graham McNeill has been taking inspiration from Japanese sources. Cool. And a pair of new Maniples too. Please just give us a Maniple that allow us to field 2 Reaver Titans and 1 Warlord Titan. I'm begging you...
Anyway, I'll keep my eyes out for this!
