Since Natfka is flying over, I'll just post this news in his place. Here are the breaking news of NOVA Open's reveal! Well, obviously I'm only going to cover Warhammer 40,000. I have no interest in Lord of the Rings, Necromunda or Age of Sigmar, sorry. But you probably know that already (why are you reading this blog, otherwise...stupid question. Nobody reads this blog). Anyway, for the full rundown, you can read on Warhammer Community.
First up is Psychic Awakening. We finally know what the hell it is.
Apparently the Primaris Space Marines and Roboute Guilliman's revival weren't enough to turn the tide against the threats assailing us. Chaos attacks us and sundered our galactic empire in half, Tyranids swarm our worlds and devastated the sons of Baal, Orks are gathering in numbers not seen since the days of the Beast, we wage war on a million worlds, and still it is not enough. Don't worry, Draconis III and Draconis IV are safe, so if you Loyalists want to seek refuge, come to the Draconian system. The Knights of House Yato, the Draconian Armored Astra Militarum regiments and the Skitarii Legions as well as Legio Draconis are standing strong against the enemies of Mankind, and our worlds are safe.
I digress, though. Every codex will be receiving expanded rules, we get involved in new war zones, we get a new narrative campaign and the story moves forward from the Indominus Crusade - so new lore and new fluff! YAY! Each book will feature at least two Factions and give them new rules. I wonder what we'll get for my Imperial Knights, Astra Militarum and Adeptus Mechanicus.
Oh, and good news for Eldar fans. Your Aspect Warriors are finally getting plastic models!
As for Raven Guard players, you're getting an updated Chapter Master. Kayvaan Shrike have returned, and he crossed the Rubricon to become a Primaris Space Marine too. He's still the Chapter Master of the Raven Guard, and has been ever since the previous one died during Kauyon in the Damocles War Zone. Maybe the Imperium will finally ally with the T'au and Aeldari to fight against the Tyranids, Orks and forces of Chaos.
Oh, and Sisters of Battle players! You will be rewarded for your faith and patience!
Not only are you guys getting plastic models for the Adepta Sororitas, you're getting an army set! Wow! Plastic Battle Sisters and Seraphim, and a Canoness! And a new Penitent Engine!
Cool, eh? More things to look forward to this year! YAY! Mankind will reclaim the galaxy, destroy all Chaos, purge all Tyranids, exterminate the Orks, annihilate the Necrons and reign supreme once again!
About My Blog
Ave Omnissiah!
My blog is primarily my own personal fluff in the Warhammer 40,000 universe regarding the Draconis system such as the Knight House Yato in Ryusei, their Household Militia, the Draconian Defenders, and the Forge World of Draconis IV with its Adeptus Mechanicus priesthood, Cybernetica cohorts and Skitarii legions, and the Titan Legion, Legio Draconis, known as the Dark Dragons.

Do not overdo it! "Nobody reads" ... someone does it (at least the Sacred Ordos, of course ). What about all this? Lots of meat on the fire, tearful wallets and fun novelties! Thank you for updating us!
ReplyDeleteHa ha, I was being snarky and poking fun at myself for asking a stupid question. But yeah, I don't think I'll be able to afford much of this.
