Just saw this on Warhammer Community today. Yup, you got that right. We're getting a new Space Marine codex this year, about 2 years after 8th edition first began.
Chief Librarian Tigurius of the Ultramarines and Kor'sarro Khan of the White Scars have joined Marneus Calgar in becoming Primaris Marines. Yay?
Why isn't the Khan on a bike?! He's White Scars, right? Oh yeah, there are no Primaris Bikers.
Also: new Primaris Vanguard Dreadnought. Or Vanguard Primaris Dreadnought. Ugh. Whatever. Anyway, the damned thing is officially titled the Invictor Tactical Warsuit. They're adding way too many names to these things.
We're also getting a Primaris Impulsor as the cheap Dedicated Transport for Primaris Marines. Yay?
And all of this means we're getting a new codex for Space Marines.
Oh, come on. Stop complaining about the old Marines getting phased out. They're still in there. You can still use your own Marines. They are not going anywhere. They're still in the codex. You just get new Primaris Marines, that's all.
Not only are we getting a new Space Marine codex, we're also getting Codex Supplements for each founding Chapters! Woohoo! Except that I don't play Space Marines, so whatever.
Oh, and Space Marines as well as Heretic Astartes also get a crazy new rule.
The Angels of Death combines the They Shall Know No Fear with Bolter Discipline and Shock Assault. And the Traitor Space Marines also get this rule. Yikes! That makes them scarier to play against!
We also get new rules for Successor Chapters too! You can combine two Successor Chapter Tactics rules from the codex and bang! You've created your own Successor Chapter! There's an awesome list of Successor Chapter Tactics to choose from, so you can start crawling through them and take your time to decide!

Oh, and before I forget, it seems like the story is advancing a little. In autumn, we'll get the Psychic Awakening! According to the Warp Awakens trailer, something grimdark is going to happen and the 41st/42nd millennium will get a lot darker! This is what the video says (if my ears didn't fail me - I'm just an ordinary guardsmen without the enhanced hearing of the Adeptus Astartes or augmetics of the Skitarii):
Warp Calls. Faith is Tested. The Beast Roars. Ancient Darkness Rises. Everything has led to this. The Psychic Awakening.
