Anyway, Warhammer Community has released news on the contents of Shadowspear! You can check their post on their site. It's up for pre-order next week if you're interested.
Don't be deceived by the description. The malefic Daemonkin are not a new faction. They are still Chaos Space Marines, just a bunch of Daemons and Daemon Engine without any Daemonkin Keyword.
Anyway, what's inside the box?
The Daemonkin, which includes 1 Master of Possessions, 10 Chaos Space Marines, 2 Obliterators, 2 Greater Possessed and 1 Venomcrawler.
Then you have the Primaris Vanguard Marines, which include 3 Suppressors, 3 Eliminators, 10 Infiltrators, a Vanguard Strike Librarian, a Vanguard Captain and a Vanguard Lieutenant (Games Workshop really love their Lieutenants, don't they?).
And we get mini-codexes too. So they are mini-factions of their own (hence misleading names like Daemonkin). But there's only enough for you to make a Patrol Detachment each for the Chaos Space Marines and the Primaris Marines. The Infiltrators count as Troops, by the way.
Interesting...and also a Campaign book.
According to Warhammer Community, that's not all we'll be getting for Chaos, and with Vigilus II approaching, they promise to release more news for Chaos! So we won't just be getting the Daemonkin alone!
