Pre-orders and stay safe

As much as I wanted to post about the pre-orders...stay safe, everybody. Sigh. It's pretty bad at Minneapolis, and a bunch of supermarkets (Target, Cub), banks, post offices at Lake Street - a few blocks away from where I live - have been burned down.

I sympathize with the family of George Floyd and strongly condemn the actions that have led to his death. This cop violence against blacks has to stop. Well, the cop who murdered him has just been charged, and hopefully justice will be served. Stand strong, everybody, and stay safe. This includes the employees of Target, Cub, etc. While fighting against discrimination, don't victimize other people and ensure we stand as one!

Anyway, back to the Warhammer Community article...



Engine War, as you know, is up for pre-order. As tempted as I am to grab the collector's edition, I am very tight on cash right now and so I will save the extra $40. Sorry...



We also have the Tech-priest Manipulus. I probably am not a fan of this guy, but if you guys like him, grab him as soon as you can!



And of course the Seberys Sulfurhounds and Raiders! I have pre-ordered a single box because that's all I can afford for now.



The Pteraxii Sterylizors and Skystalkers too!



And finally the Archaeopter!



And then there's the new Start Collecting! Adeptus Mechanicus set with the Tech-priest Enginseer and Skorpius Dunerider!



This will be awesome! I can't wait! WOOHOO! Everything is on pre-order today!

Adeptus Mechanicus Leaks!

New Rules for Imperial Knights

Warhammer Community has a post containing some of the new rules for Imperial Knights! Yay!



So we have new Stratagems...too bad I no longer have Armiger Helverins, but I couldn't care less. I like my Armiger Moirax and their exotic volkite weapons more.



Thankfully I can swap my weapons about and get a Knight Warden, but I don't think I will do that. I like Knight Crusaders more. Speaking of which, I wonder if each Questoris Variant will have their own Stratagems...



And then we have something for my Knight Gallant or Knight Errant or whoever decides to run up close to smash my enemies in combat! I mean Titanic enemies, of course. Speaking of which, I rarely play against other Knight players for some reason.



Also, it seems that we will be getting our own Household Traditions! I can't wait to see what they will have! I've been using House Taranis, but if they have stuff that gives me "regain a wound" or something per turn, I would be happy to jump into that!



Apparently they have a new Household Tradition that is set up against Hordes like Orks and Tyranids. Just look at Guardians of the Frontier, for example.



And then you can combine that with Stormstriders to ensure they get into combat quickly!



This combo will give you a fast-moving, aggressive army that counters hordes and gets into combat as quickly as possible!

Additionally, we're finally getting rewards for Allegiances too! Remember when I was scratching my head and wondering what's the difference between Questor Imperialis and Questor Mechanicus, other than access to Stratagems? Well, seems like we're getting a bunch of different bonuses for choosing our Allegiances now!



And since I usually go with House Taranis and down the Questor Mechanicus route, I get the Sacristan Pledge!



Hell, yeah! Regaining 1 wound per turn will be awesome!

They also have new Warlord Traitors for each Allegiance, and the example they have is Tireless Duty.



Cool! I can't wait to see what else we're getting with Engine War. I'll be preordering it on Saturday, and will let you guys know more when I get my copy!

New Rules for the Adeptus Mechanicus

As usual, Warhammer Community has a bunch of new stuff for us to read! This time it's the new rules for the Adeptus Mechanicus in Engine War!



We can make our own forge worlds now! Apparently we will have a primary dogma and a secondary dogma. I wonder what all our options will be?





Well, these seem cool, but I hope to see more.



We have a bunch of new Canticles too, by the way. Of course, you only get these if you stick to one of the named Forge Worlds, such as Mars or Stygies VIII.





Cool, eh? That's not all! In addition to making our own Forge Worlds or getting new Canticles for existing ones, we now have Holy Orders for our Tech-priests! There are four Holy Orders to choose from! Basically they give you one of three different aura abilities to choose from every turn.



This is pretty cool, eh?

We also get new Stratagems for our new units, such as the Archaeopter.



Or Pteraxii Skystalkers.







We already knew that the Serberys Sulfurhounds are pistoleers and can fire their pistol weapons even if they advanced this turn. However, we did not know that the Serberys Raiders are snipers! Whoa!





That is one cool looking flyer! Woohoo!



Our Skitarii have bad leadership, you say? Not anymore, they don't! Now they have a command uplink tot he Archaeopter! It doesn't matter which variant you're using!



Also, the chaff launcher also makes our Archaeopters a lot more resilient! Nice!

I can't wait to see what other stuff we'll get for the Adeptus Mechanicus and our Skitarii Legions!

Adeptus Mechanicus: Designing the Reinforcements

Warhammer Community has a new article up! This time it's designer commentary! There's a video in the link, so I'll ask you guys to go straight tot he Warhammer Community website. They have several awesome pictures, though!

Hey! Where's the Phosphor Torch? Warming up to these guys now for some reason.
