Finally got around to working on some Adeptus Titanicus stuff. I built an Acastus Knight Asterius and a Volkite Destructor for my Warlord Titan. Will paint them sometime in the future, hopefully I will not procrastinate as I did for assembling these couple of stuff. I really put off painting my 8 Black Templar models for quite some time...I'll add the Valhallan Blizzard snow when I paint these two. Get everything done in one shot.
At least that's the plan...but I don't know when that will happen. We shall see...anyway, hopefully we'll have a great year for Warhammer 40,000! I might or might not get some Chaos Knights to ally with my Thousand Sons (couldn't care less about the Cabal Points, and vanilla Thousand Sons are seemingly pretty bad right now). We shall see. I don't know.
I've been reading quite a lot of Warhammer 40,000 novels published by Black Library, particularly the Siege of Terra novels. I like Mortis and Warhawk, those two being the latest books I've read, though Saturnine is still my favorite. Can't wait for Aaron Dembski-Bowden's book! I'm a little bummed that Knights don't get a huge role - there were the Armiger bondsmen (or bondswoman) in Mortis, but otherwise Knghts don't really feature other than mentions. I like the First Terran Armor in Warhawk, but I'm surprised there were no Knights among them. Maybe I'll try writing a fanfiction story about a lance of Knights accompanying and escorting the First Terran Armor, assisting the White Scars against the Death Guard. Might be fun, but nobody's going to read it, so I might just get lazy and not write it. Heh.
For now, I'll be getting a couple more Armigers to add to my Imperial Knights army and play them more often this year. Maybe I'll play Black Templars once in a while - they are so fun, and I love the Cataphractii Terminators with Imperial Fists shields (I field them as Templar Brethren in 30K or Black Templars) - but I want to focus more on Knights in terms of tournament stuff. We'll see if I can pull it off. If not, well...it is what it is. I'll also focus more on my Mechanicum army for Horus Heresy. Seems like my friends will be organizing a Horus Heresy narrative event in February, so I'll get a chance to test out my new Mechanicum army (plus Knights) there! I'll do my best again this year. Anyway, till then!
