Remember when I posted the Warhammer 40,000 Facebook page asking for 40,000 likes so that they will post something from an unannounced and unreleased book?
That's right. As of 13 September, 0318 hours (Minnesota time - GMT - 6:00), the picture from the unannounced and unreleased book has been revealed.
This is artwork from the book of part II in the saga of the War Zone: Fenris series. The sequel to the Curse of the Wulfen campaign is arriving soon!
Not sure what's going on here, but it seems that Tzeentch drop pods are falling into Fenris from orbit above, and the wolve confronting the serpent in the background of space represents the symbolic battle between the Space Wolves and the forces of Tzeentch - which are most presumably the Thousand Sons. Or so we hope. We shall see...after the burning of Prospero by the evil Space Wolves, the innocent and wronged Thousand Sons will finally have their revenge! Muahahahaha! For the Emperor!
Wait...wrong side. Whoops. But hey, the Emperor told the Space Wolves to bring Magnus back to Terra, not to raze Propsero to the ground, so they're basically heretics in my eyes. And I don't get it, wasn't the Inquisition declaring Exterminatus on Fenris at the end of the Curse of the Wulfen? What happened to that? Oh well...at least the Dark Angels and Grey Knights are on hand to help the Space Wolves fight off the forces of Tzeentch...I hope. Who knows?
And will this be somehow tied to the Thirteenth Black Crusade, which has just recently been released as a campaign in the new book Traitor's Hate?
About My Blog
Ave Omnissiah!
My blog is primarily my own personal fluff in the Warhammer 40,000 universe regarding the Draconis system such as the Knight House Yato in Ryusei, their Household Militia, the Draconian Defenders, and the Forge World of Draconis IV with its Adeptus Mechanicus priesthood, Cybernetica cohorts and Skitarii legions, and the Titan Legion, Legio Draconis, known as the Dark Dragons.
